The archives contain the registration forms of artists from all sections since the middle of the 18th century, booklets and catalogues from 1699 to the present day as well as the illustrated catalogues from 1880 to 1914 and the committee minutes of the Société des Artistes Français.

During each exhibition, the jury of the painting, sculpture, engraving, photography and architecture sections award medals and private prizes. Find here the lists of the laureates.

Since its foundation in the 17th century, le Salon has been keen to preserve traces of its activity. Over time, with the creation of this association in the 19th century, these archives have formed a collection as important as it is homogeneous : booklets, catalogs of exhibitions, speeches and various reports, photos, drawings.
